Pumpkinfest

The 30th Annual Pumpkinfest, a Children’s Harvest Festival, will be held on Saturday, October, 12 2024 in Allegheny Commons East Park, corner of East Ohio Street and Cedar Avenue, in Pittsburgh’s Northside.  The festivities will be held from 1:00pm to 5:00pm  (Rain date: Sunday, October 13, 2024).  Pumpkinfest has become the Northside’s favorite gathering place for families to celebrate the coming of fall.

Pumpkinfest provides a day of fun including a petting zoo, games, educational activities, live music, food, pumpkin decorating, hayrides, pony rides, amusement rides, games, crafts, lots of give-away items and more for children (12 years & younger).

This celebration also hosts an annual Health and Wellness Fair at the festival. The fair includes a multitude of educational, recreational, and public safety booths that provide families with positive information and resources on healthy life choices.t Festival
